Choosing a cellular carrier

The AngelSense device works off the cell towers and networks of AT&T, Verizon & T-Mobile. It has no bearing whatsoever on your personal cell phone provider. The tracker is not billed to your service, but to it's own with us. 

During the setup process, the default order is for our GPS 2 model, which uses Verizon. The service you use for your personal phone does not need to be the same as the device you choose. 

Cellular coverage is essential for GPS to work and to enable effective remote monitoring. Without cellular coverage up-to-date location information is not available in the AngelSense app and Listen-In is not possible, similarly to a regular phone.

Canada: Currently, the GPS1 device is supported in Canada. Our device requires good 3G cellular reception in order work properly. However, if you wish to purchase and see if our device will work in your area, please feel free to order. If it does not work for you during your free trial we can send you a return label and refund you. Read more important info for Canadian customers.

An AngelSense GPS tracking device is then shipped to the customer.

In case the wrong cellular carrier was selected we offer a replacement device at no extra cost. The following options are available:

  1. Return your device and we will ship a new device once we receive it.
  2. Order a second device via the accessories menu option in your app. Compare the devices and return one of them to get a refund for your device payment.

The return needs to be done within 30 days of purchase and the device must be in its original condition.
