Transits Overview

A Transit entry shows in the AngelSense app Timeline anytime the AngelSense device is in movement from one Place to the next. This can be when walking, driving, bicycling, etc.

Clicking on transits shows their route on a map as below. If the transit is the first one in the timeline, clicking on it will show the route updating in real-time.

Location updates in transit are made every 30 seconds and presented as an arrow. The arrows are not showing during a current transit; they will show once the transit is concluded.

During Transit, AngelSense automatically identifies every stop that is more than 5 minutes in the Timeline as an "Unknown location".

The app will present the maximum speed of the journey (if they reach over 30 mph) in the Timeline once the transit is over.

*On Web App Version 1.0.28 (only available for some Beta users currently), there is a new feature for Real Time Transit Speeds so that you can see the speed of the last reported GPS, which is every 30 seconds during transit.

For 10 second updates, you can use Runner Mode.

* The map shows dotted lines between arrows to help visualize the route between GPS updates. When driving on a winding road, the connecting lines will not follow the path of the streets and it will appear off the road. The transit speeds shown are typically highly accurate within +/- 1 mph. In certain extreme satellites conditions, the speed may have large errors.
